Whilst looking in Waterstones, to see the people that go and look at the childrens section, different publishers books and childrens book illustrators, i came across Catherine Rayner. I found many realistic book illustrators but Catherines work stood out, as i thought it was quite similar to the way i'm working in my Grad 1 project. The lines are loose and feel free, also everything isn't photo realistic which i like as it captures some of the characters characteristics, like a little belly.
